This cool and sleek surfer necklace, beaded with quality natural beads, was originally handmade in a hammock on Vieques Island, Puerto Rico. I thought I had used the last chunky red focal bead years ago, but recently found a couple in an old beach bag. The red horn focal bead is beautifully carved and framed by black and white carved bone beads in various shapes and sizes. The necklace is finished off with slender black and tiny red horn beads. Part of my non-metal and bohemian jewelry collections, this cool surfer necklace looks great on brunette, silver, black, and red-headed surf warriors, goddesses, wannabes, and not-so-sandy beach-peeps. It is most dramatic on very dark or very light skin tones, is lacquered for salty waters, and its multiple-loop and bead closure allows you to make micro-adjustments for a perfect fit.
