Ideas for my island made unusual new bracelets for women, men, kids & surfers, are not necessarily new. Unusual wrist & arm jewelry ideas present themselves at odd times throughout the night or day.  They are usually more forth coming around a full moon or they pop up when mind is either completely relaxed and free of clutter, like after yoga or swinging in my hammock at the beach.  Sometimes they are emphatically embraced when I am working on a task I am SUPPOSED to be doing, but don't WANT to be doing.  Like taxes.  However most of my creative imaginings come in the early morning, when I am neither asleep nor awake.  Before mind's blah blah kicks in and has a chance to squash the inspiration, I make a beeline to my studio and lay out the materials to eventually create the - tribal armband, boho sexy ankle bracelet or a chic anklet - new bracelet idea.  A bohemian bracelet design might feature Caribbean ocean tumbled ocean pottery, sea shells, coral or sea urchin spines wire wrapped on a chain.  Or maybe bone, horn, wood, nut or seed, natural beads macrame knotted into a surfer bracelet. An island chic bracelet design may feature handcrafted lampwork or commercially made, earthtone or vibrantly colorful glass beads. Sometimes they cross over like my island chic, tribal beaded cuff bracelets. It could be an affordable bracelet design, with an artisan ceramic bead on leather or, a simple beaded bracelet made with gemstone nuggets, like turquoise.  Or it could be more complicated like an intricately knotted, nonmetal macrame design for surfers.  IF coffee is involved, sometimes I will create a bunch of unusual bracelets. But sometimes, with or without coffee, one bracelet idea is all there is...so I'll get on with my day or go back to bed.  It depends on the intensity of the creative spark, usually coinciding with the brightness of the moon, and with the ability to keep chattering mind at bay.  If not immediately created, these new bracelet design ideas are laid out in trays, for those moments when imagination eludes me, but I feel the motivation to bead, macrame, crochet or wire wrap new bracelets  into their full, bohemian or island chic, expression... at the beach in my hammock, meditatively. Trays are stacked in every corner of my house and their are probably 50 or so bracelet designs waiting to birth.
